About OwnerMath
OwnerMath builds practical business calculators for freelancers, consultants, creators, technical SEOs, small agencies, and solo operators.
The goal is simple:
Know your numbers before you accidentally build yourself a worse job.
OwnerMath is not a finance-bro advice site, bloated SaaS dashboard, or generic small-business blog. It is a growing set of fast, transparent calculators and guides for decisions like:
- how many billable hours you can realistically sell
- what hourly rate your business actually needs
- whether a project quote has enough margin
- how much scope creep costs
- what a retainer needs to cover
- whether your revenue goal survives basic math
- what your effective hourly rate was after the work is done
Every calculator should make assumptions visible, explain the result, flag risky inputs, and point to a practical next step.
Who runs OwnerMath?
OwnerMath is built by Chris Gaglardi, a technical SEO, full-stack developer, and operator in Lake Country, BC.
Chris has long-running web and search experience through Beelineweb.com, the family business he has been involved with for much of his life. He now works hands-on across technical SEO, content systems, analytics, Python automation, full-stack development, and practical business tooling.
How the calculators work
OwnerMath calculators are educational planning tools.
They use transparent assumptions and reusable formula logic to turn messy business questions into clearer estimates.
They are designed to help you ask better questions, not pretend a calculator can replace judgment, bookkeeping, accounting, tax advice, legal advice, or lived business experience.
What OwnerMath is not
OwnerMath is not:
- financial advice
- tax advice
- legal advice
- accounting advice
- a promise of business success
- a substitute for a qualified professional
It is business math with visible assumptions.
That is useful.
It is not magic.
